JONESWORKS, a strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency, is seeking a driven, creative, and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to join our New York office.

The Social Media Coordinator role combines creative and analytical skill sets: managing content and community for our clients, developing short form video and copy, and using performance data to inform strategy. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social trends, sports, and entertainment, and a proven ability to build engaged, growing audiences.

This is a fast-paced environment, and nights and weekends may be required to support clients and real time moments. We're looking for someone detail oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow, with no task considered too small.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Develop and maintain content calendars, balancing brand voice, real time trends, cultural moments, and campaign/marketing objectives
\n
• Manage and prioritize multiple creative projects simultaneously across multiple clinets and competing deadline
\n
• Manage the JONESWORKS social media accounts end to end, including community management, content calendars, content creation, and publishing
\n
• Assist in day to day community management and content execution across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms for multiple clients
\n
• Assist in developing social media strategies for talent and brand clients that drive engagement and growth across various social media platforms
\n
• Create and edit content, including short form video (CapCut or Premiere), photo editing, graphics, and copy, tailored to each platform and each client's distinct voice
\n
• Write and adapt social media copy across clients, shifting tone and voice depending on the brand or talent
\n
• Compile social media reporting for both organic and paid social clients, pulling data accurately and using it to inform recommendations for future campaigns
\n
• Conduct daily social media monitoring and develop monitoring reports
\n
• Track trends, sounds, formats, and platform updates in real time and translate them into timely content opportunities
\n
• Flag risks or opportunities proactively and bring solutions, not just problems
\n
• Oversee preparation for meetings/calls, including agendas and recaps
\n
• Support digital team by assisting with various administrative tasks, such as event and travel logistics and calendar management
\n
• Maintain sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
\n
• 1-2 years of experience in social media, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working with both brands as well as talent
\n
• A genuine interest in social platforms, trends, sports, and entertainment culture
\n
• Creative thinker who can approach content ideas outside the box
\n
• Short form video and photo editing experience (CapCut or Premiere)
\n
• Familiarity with social media KPIs, analytics, and reporting tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics)
\n
• Detail oriented and highly organized
\n
• Strong prioritization skills, able to juggle multiple clients and shifting deadlines
\n
• Fast learner and ability to apply direction from supervisors
\n
• Strong written voice, able to shift tone across different client personas
\n
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
\n
