We're seeking a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our valuation and finance analytics function.This role will own the company's fair value framework, loan-level forecasting, servicing asset analytics, and other complex financial models supporting reporting and strategic decision-making. The Director will also serve as the primary finance partner for several corporate functions. From helping leadership understand budget performance, to identifying risks and opportunities, to strengthening financial discipline across the organization.The ideal candidate pairs strong technical accounting and valuation expertise with exceptional financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex concepts for senior executives.Responsibilities Fair Value & Financial Modeling Own monthly and quarterly fair value analyses for the company's loan portfolio and servicing assetsDevelop, maintain, and enhance DCF models supporting fair value measurementsPartner with Accounting, Capital Markets, and external auditors during monthly closeEvaluate and recommend updates to valuation assumptions, including credit losses, prepayment rates, recovery rates, funding costs, servicing costs, and discount ratesSupport audit requests and valuation documentationCore FP&A ResponsibilitiesBuild analytical tools to evaluate current and future financing strategies and stagesPartner with stakeholders and financial systems to improve forecast accuracy and scale forecasting/reporting workflowsDevelop financial models and insightful presentations to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-makingAnalyze profitability across products, channels, and customer segmentsEnhance reporting capabilities using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and other financial systemsRequirements8–12+ years in FP&A, valuation, investment banking, consulting, Big Four, or financial institutionsStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statementsAdvanced Excel modeling skillsProven track record building discounted cash flow modelsSkilled in fair value measurements or other valuation methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsComfortable working cross-functionally with Accounting and executive leadershipNice to have:Background in specialty finance, fintech, banking, or consumer lendingFamiliarity with ASC 820 Fair Value measurementsKnowledge of servicing assets or mortgage/loan servicingProficiency with SQL, Power BI, or other BI toolsNetSuite experienceCompensationIn addition to salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $170,000 to $230,000.
