Responsibilities
- Load raw sheet metal onto CNC laser and plasma machine tables safely and accurately.
- Call up pre-programmed cutting routines and execute production runs on Mazak and Amada equipment.
- Monitor machine operations during cutting cycles to ensure proper machine performance and cut quality.
- Unload finished parts, perform basic deburring or tab removal, and organize items for downstream processing.
- Conduct basic dimensional checks on processed parts using calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
- Perform basic routine maintenance, including nozzle checks, lens cleaning, and table slag removal.
- Promptly report program errors, material defects, or mechanical malfunctions to the shift supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all facility safety guidelines and required PPE.
